The Senior Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Media, Olorogun Sunday Apah, has extended his heartfelt sympathies to Chief Solomon Arenyeka, the Delta State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), following the passing of his mother, Mrs. Felicia Oritselumewor Arenyeka.

In a condolence message, Apah described the loss of the family matriarch as a significant blow, not just to the Arenyeka family but to everyone whose life she touched with her extraordinary presence.

Mrs. Felicia Oritselumewor Arenyeka passed away on April 24 at the age of 91. She is remembered as a woman of great virtue, whose life was defined by grace, kindness, and an unshakeable commitment to her family and community.

Apah, who previously served as the State Publicity Secretary of the PDP, noted that her long and fulfilled life stands as a testament to divine favour and leaves behind a legacy worthy of emulation.

He encouraged Chief Arenyeka and his family to find comfort in the impactful life she led and the values she imparted to her children and everyone she encountered.

“On behalf of my family, I extend my sincere condolences to you and your family on the loss of your beloved mother.

“Although her passing leaves an emptiness, we are reassured by the enduring legacy of a life well and fully lived,” the statement read.

Apah, a former Leader of the Ughelli South Local Government Council Legislative Arm, also offered prayers for the peaceful repose of her soul and for God to grant the grieving family the strength and resilience to bear this painful loss.
