The Ughievwen All Progressives Congress (APC) Caucus has strongly reaffirmed its commitment to voting for all candidates of the party in the 2027 general elections.
This firm position was made known during a well-attended strategic meeting of the caucus held at the country home of Olorogun Johnson Boro in Agbowhiame town on Sunday.
Speaking during the meeting, Chairman of the Ughievwen APC Leaders, Olorogun Johnson Boro, urged members to remain more united in order to be victorious in the forthcoming elections.
He stressed that the strength of the party lies in the ability of its leaders and supporters to work together as one family rather than allowing personal interests to create unnecessary divisions.

Olorogun Boro further noted that the 2027 elections present a golden opportunity for the APC to consolidate its gains and expand its influence in Ughelli South and the wider Delta State.

He called on every member of the caucus to put the collective interest of the party above individual ambitions and to begin early mobilisation of voters at the grassroots level.

Speaking further, the Ughievwen APC Leaders’ Chairman emphasised the need for continuous engagement with the people.

He reminded the gathering that elections are won through consistent contact, credible representation, and visible service delivery, and he urged all leaders present to intensify their community work so that the party’s message of progress remains clear and attractive to the electorate.

Also speaking, Member of the Delta State House of Assembly representing Ughelli South Constituency and APC Candidate for the Delta State House of Assembly, Ughelli South Constituency, Hon. Festus Utuama, expressed joy over the growing unity within the constituency.

He described the atmosphere at the meeting as evidence that the political class in Ughievwen is maturing and placing party interest above personal rivalry.

Hon. Utuama went on to thank the leadership of the caucus for creating a platform where ideas can be freely exchanged and differences resolved amicably.

He pointed out that such constructive dialogue is essential for building the trust and confidence needed to mobilise the people effectively when the time comes to vote.

The lawmaker reaffirmed his total loyalty to the APC and pledged to work closely with every leader and member of the caucus.

He assured the gathering that he would continue to represent the interests of Ughelli South with diligence and that the same spirit of teamwork displayed at the meeting would guide his campaign and legislative efforts going forward.
