The late Mrs. Beatrice Oritsegbeyiwa Oboro, mother of former House of Representatives member, Rt. Hon. Evelyn Omavowan Oboro Esq., will be laid to rest tomorrow, Friday, December 13, 2024.
In a statement issued by the family, the burial procession will begin with the body being transported in a motorcade from the Naval Mortuary on Refinery Road.
The motorcade will make stopovers at Ajomata Street, Okotogbo, and Erovie Street, before proceeding to Jigbale Estate off Alegbo Road in Effurun.
According to the statement, the funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Mount Zion Parish, located opposite the Effurun Post Office along Effurun/Sapele Road.
Interment is scheduled for 12 p.m. at her residence in Ugbolokposo. Following the burial, guests are invited to join the family for refreshments at the Platinum Event Centre, situated at Ugbomro/Okwatata Junction, opposite Uti Junction along the DSC Expressway in Effurun, Delta State.
The family’s statement also urged friends and well-wishers to honor the memory of the late Mrs. Oboro with a befitting burial.
All those wishing to pay their respects are encouraged to join in the celebrations of her life and legacy.
