The Team Emuoboh Gbagi Campaign Organization has thrown its full weight behind the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Delta State House of Assembly, Ughelli South Constituency I, Hon. Festus Eseoghene Utuama, assuring him of total support ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Olorogun Emuoboh Gbagi, principal of the group and a former aspirant for the same House of Assembly seat, made the promise when Hon. Festus Eseoghene Utuama and his campaign team paid him a consultative visit at his residence in Jakpa Road, Effurun, Delta State.
He declared that his campaign structure would not only back Utuama but would also mobilise votes for every other APC candidate on the ballot.
“We are solidly behind Hon. Festus Eseoghene Utuama and the entire APC family,” Gbagi stated. “Our organisation remains committed to the success of the party at every level. The primary election may not have gone our way, but the party’s interest comes first.”
He further appealed to Nigerians to exercise patience with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, noting that the President is steadily working to fix the nation’s challenges in the same determined manner he transformed Lagos State. “Change takes time and sacrifice,” Gbagi said. “President Tinubu has a proven track record, and we must give him the support and understanding he needs to deliver results.”
Gbagi urged the people of Delta State and the wider Nigerian electorate to vote massively for the APC ticket in 2027.
He specifically called for support for Alhaji Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the APC presidential candidate, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori as the APC governorship candidate, Senator Ede Dafinone as the APC candidate for Delta Central Senatorial District, Rt. Hon. Francis Ejiroghene Waive as the APC House of Representatives candidate for Ughelli North, Ughelli South and Udu Federal Constituency, and Hon. Festus Eseoghene Utuama for Delta State House of Assembly, Ughelli South Constituency I.
Earlier in his speech, Hon. Festus Eseoghene Utuama expressed deep appreciation to Olorogun Emuoboh Gbagi for the continuous support shown since the party primaries held earlier in the year. “I am truly grateful for the loyalty and solidarity you have demonstrated,” Utuama said. “Your decision to remain with the party and support other candidates after the primary speaks volumes about your character and commitment.”
Utuama observed that many politicians in similar situations might have defected to other parties after losing a primary contest. “But Olorogun Emuoboh Gbagi has chosen a different path,” he added.
“His love, respect and unwavering commitment to the All Progressives Congress have kept him firmly within the fold. That kind of discipline and party loyalty is rare and highly commendable.”
The lawmaker-elect further noted that such gestures strengthen internal party cohesion and send a clear message that the APC in Delta State is united and focused on collective victory in 2027.
