The Executive Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Political Matters, Deacon Matthew Kwode, has extended warm congratulations to former Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on the occasion of his 66th birthday, celebrated on July 8, 2025.
In a signed statement released on Tuesday, Kwode praised Okowa for his dedicated service and exceptional leadership during his tenure as governor from 2015 to 2023.
He emphasized Okowa’s vision for development, which ushered in various infrastructure projects and social initiatives that greatly benefited the people of Delta State.
“Senator Okowa’s leadership has left an indelible mark on our state, and his commitment to improving the lives of our citizens stands as a testament to his governance,” Kwode remarked.
Kwode also underscored Okowa’s role in fostering unity and peace within the state, particularly during a time when Nigeria faces its share of challenges.
