His departure continues to resonate deeply, a testament to his relentless commitment to addressing political and business challenges throughout his life.

Born on June 30, 1928, in Ughevwughe and Ekakpamre communities both in Uhurie Sub-clan of Ughievwen Kingdom in Delta State.

Chief Jefia’s impact spanned numerous sectors, including banking, politics, and community service.

He began his educational journey at Agbasa Catholic School in Warri from 1939 to 1945, before continuing at the United College of Commerce in Warri from 1946 to 1948.

His quest for knowledge led him to London, where he pursued banking and management studies from 1962 to 1966.

Jefia’s professional journey included significant roles, starting as a bank accountant at Barclays Bank Limited from 1952 to 1957, followed by positions as bank manager and senior bank manager at African Continental Bank Limited.

His political career soared as he served as a member of the Bendel State House of Assembly from 1979 to 1983 and contributed to various reputable organizations, including the Institute of Bankers and the Nigerian Institute of Management.

He played a pivotal role in founding the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State, shaping the political landscape of the state until his passing on February 6, 2003.

Chief Jefia belonged to the versatile generation that bridged the pre-World War II era and the vibrant 1960s.

He raised his children during a transformative period marked by societal challenges, offering them guidance that often contrasted with the experiences of his own youth.

He was not just a father; he was a compassionate guide who found solace in his faith. His devotion to Jesus was evident in his daily interactions, culminating in his honor as a papal knight recognized by the Catholic Church.

His eldest daughter, Mrs. Lyn Onoriode Jefia-James, delights in celebrating her father’s remarkable spirit, reflecting on the overwhelming impact he had on her life.

“Words fail to capture the depth of my love and loss,” she shares. “Each passing year reminds me of his absence and the profound influence he had on those around him.

“My father was a man of conviction, style, and class. He dedicated his life to his family and served selflessly, embodying courage and leadership.”

Remembered as an astute businessman, Chief Jefia possessed the unique ability to spot and capitalize on opportunities.

His enterprising spirit and belief in collaboration made him a remarkable figure in both business and politics.

Rest in peace, Chief Harrison Jefia. Your life was a beautiful testament to resilience, love, and faith.

Ned Nwoko: Dancing Naked in the Market Square

    Oplus_131072

    By Jackson Ekwugum

“Whom the gods would destroy, they first make mad”- Author unknown

By now any lingering doubts about the comportment, maturity, and fitness of Senator Ned Nwoko for the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria should have evaporated after reading his latest outburst. The presser where he boasted that he was “more popular” than Governor Sheriff Oborevwori laid bare the shallowness and hollowness of his character. It was puerile, jejune, and undignified, exposing a narcissistic trait that you would not expect to see in a person occupying the hallowed Red chamber of the National Assembly. The presser, an anti-climax to months of political perfidy in which he worked frantically to destabilise the Delta State PDP and demonise Governor Sheriff Oborevwori while frolicking with the APC, was an odious exercise in political grandstanding. The belief and hopes of some state party leaders in 2023 that Nwoko had repented of his uncouth ways and days of political harlotry have now been rewarded with betrayal of the highest order. Indeed, the pain and regret of those who were convinced that he was a “born again” politician are palpable. Truly, a leopard cannot change its spots.

Now, let us examine the matters arising from his infantile vituperations. In his warped logic, Nwoko claims to be “more popular” than Governor Oborevwori. For starters, Governor Oborevwori is not in a popularity contest with Nwoko. The Governor is not an attention-seeker; he is comfortable in his own skin and does not need to rub shoulders with a serving Senator representing one of the three senatorial districts in his State. Secondly, if you must tell people that you are popular, you are certainly not. Thirdly, Nwoko is confusing being controversial and cheap with being popular. To be popular means to be “liked or admired by many people or by a particular person or group.” Truth be told, that is not the case with the not-so-distinguished Senator. And there is no bigger attestation to this fact than the iconic instablog9ja’s screaming headline that “Regina Daniels’s Husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, defects from PDP to APC.” That, right there, tells you everything you need to know about Nwoko’s spurious claim to popularity. Obviously, Instablog9ja, a blog that caters to celebrities and newsmakers, only knows about his wife, once an up-and-coming talent in Nollywood. Thus, the only way the defection could be newsworthy to Instablog9ja and its readers was to rein Regina into the mix. So much for being popular.

Nwoko’s obsessive tendency to stoke needless controversies or attack persons bigger and better than him to gain attention and relevance is now almost legendary. It may put him in the headlines but that does not make him popular. On the contrary, Governor Oborevwori is a man that is loved, admired, and respected by people across partisan, religious, or ethnic lines. His self-effacing mien, ebullient personality, and relational skills are qualities that easily endear him to the rich and poor, the powerful and the powerless. This was in ample demonstration at his son’s nuptials at Asaba in December 2024. The President, Governors, political gladiators from across party lines and people from all spheres of human endeavour were happy to be on ground to celebrate with him. His trademark simplicity, humility and spirit of generosity, are qualities that continue to win him friends and admirers among his peers, and across party lines or socio-economic strata. Indubitably, Nwoko’s attempt to diminish the Governor’s status with his unwarranted and provocative attacks is not only an exercise in futility, it also serves to expose the Senator as a drowning man groping at every available straw for survival.

Senator Nwoko sought to paint the picture of Oborevwori as haughty and proud by saying “he does not respect me anymore.” Obviously, this is a man with a larger-than-life image of himself. It is hard to fathom why Nwoko thinks his Governor and leader should accord him special privileges and courtesies beyond that which he gives to others. Nwoko may have joined APC but the fact remains that Oborevwori is still his Governor. Protocol and common-sense demand that when he speaks of the Governor he should do so with decorum and respect. And if there is anything you may accuse Oborevwori of, it is certainly not being proud. A Governor who would apologise to his staff if they waited long to see him, because he was busy attending to other official functions, cannot be referred to as disrespectful or proud by any stretch of imagination. In Governor Oborevwori, I have seen a new level of humility that is sobering.

It was Nwoko’s assertion that “Sheriff Oborevwori does not have the capacity to be a Governor where we are.” The Governor of the Year (Infrastructure and Prudent Management of Resources) Award that was recently bestowed on Oborevwori by Thsiday/Arise TV clearly puts a lie to that preposterous claim. In a rare display of candour, ThisDay publisher, Nduka Obaigbena admitted that Governor Oborevwori was “underrated” before assuming office but has astounded many with his exceptional performance so far. Nigerians would take the word of a reputable publisher than that of a rabble rouser whose stock-in-trade is fanning the embers of division and disunity. Governor Oborevwori was a successful businessman before he ventured into politics, rising through the ranks to become Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly. During his record six-year tenure as Speaker, Oborevwori also served as Deputy Chairman of the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria (2020-2023), a testament to his capacity, competence, and character as a leader and manager of men and resources.

Talking about capacity, it is time Senator Nwoko takes a good, hard look in the mirror. By now, he ought to be reeling out his achievements to the good people of Delta North instead of this tiresome song and dance about Anioma State, which process has not even commenced. As a Senator in the National Assembly, it is his duty and responsibility to lobby and influence the Federal Government to do the needful regarding the Okpai Independent Power Plant and Ogwashi-Uku Dam, both Federal Government projects. Instead, he opts, rather mischievously, to pass the buck to the Governor, betraying his utter lack of understanding of his role as a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Good enough, Senator Nwoko has exercised his right of freedom of choice and association to ally with the APC, the party in control of the Federal Government. This is his chance to get both projects running and functional. Until then, he should spare us his shameless naked dance in the market square that has become as irritating as it is distracting.

APC Lawmakers Clarify Relationship with Governor Oborevwori Amid Misleading Report

    Oplus_131072

    By Sunday Apah

Members of the Delta State House of Assembly Minority Caucus have distanced themselves from a recent media report alleging a political shift involving Chief Promise Lawuru in light of the upcoming 2027 election.

In a carefully crafted joint statement, the seven All Progressives Congress (APC) lawmakers condemned the unprofessional use of their group photograph to fabricate the claims presented in the report.

Titled “Response to Allegations of Chief Promise Lawuru’s Political Shift Ahead of 2027,” the statement urges the public to ignore the article published by GbaramatuVoice TV, which has been widely circulated on social media.

The lawmakers clarified that High Chief Promise Lawuru had invited them to the Oginbiri Celebration Day on January 11, 2025, in the Warri North Local Government Area, but only three members were able to attend due to previous commitments.

They further explained that, in recognition of their attendance, Lawuru invited them to his residence in Warri for a breakfast meeting on February 1, 2025.

They emphasized that the meeting did not involve any discussions regarding the performance of Delta State Governor Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori or the 2027 election, contrary to what the media report suggested.

The lawmakers expressed their discontent with the use of photographs taken during the breakfast to promote a false narrative, asserting that the images had no connection to the alleged discussions.

“Our attention has been drawn to a misleading article published by GbaramatuVoice TV, which has been making the rounds on social media. We find it important to clarify the facts,” they stated.

“On January 11, 2025, we were invited to Oginbiri Day Celebration by High Chief Promise Lawuru. Regrettably, only three of us could attend due to prior engagements. Subsequently, on February 1, 2025, we were invited to his residence to express appreciation for our attendance at the celebration. We enjoyed breakfast together and left shortly thereafter.

“It is crucial to note that there were no discussions regarding the performance of the Delta State Governor or the 2027 election, as mentioned in the publication. The use of photographs from our visit to suggest otherwise is unprofessional.

“We urge the public to disregard the content of this misleading report, as the accompanying images do not support the claims made.

“It is important to highlight that, as an assembly, we maintain a cordial working relationship with The Governor, and there is no basis for any such conversations to take place,” the statement concluded.

The statement was signed by Hon. Emakpor Edafe Esq (Minority Leader and Member representing Uvwie State Constituency), Hon. Ebitonmo Anthony Alapala (Minority Whip and Member Representing Burutu State Constituency 1), and Hon. Matthew Onojighofia Omonade Esq (Member representing Ughelli North Constituency 1). Other signatories included Hon. Spencer Obakore Owhofa Esq (Member representing Ughelli North Constituency 2), Hon. Collins Ovie Egbetama Esq (Member representing Udu Constituency), Hon. Achoja Blessing (Member representing Ethiope West Constituency), and Hon. Benson Obire (Member representing Warri South Constituency 2).

Oborevwori Committed to Addressing Residents’ Challenges, Izeze Assures Ajaji Layout Community

    By Sunday Apah

Residents of Ajaji Layout, formerly known as Bonsaac in Asaba, have received reassurance regarding Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s commitment to providing essential social amenities for the area’s growing population.

During a visit to Ajaji Layout on Tuesday, the Commissioner for Works (Highways and Urban Roads), Comrade Reuben Izeze, conveyed this message on behalf of the state government.

Accompanied by the Acting Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mrs. Juliet Aboloje, and other senior officials, Izeze promised to relay the community’s challenges to the Governor for prompt action.

“Our esteemed Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, who recently received the accolade of THISDAY Governor of the Year 2024, is genuinely committed to the welfare of the people.

“As you noted in your communication, we have come to engage with you and understand the issues at hand.

“Our role is to proactively identify these challenges and bring them to the attention of the Governor, and we assure you that we will fulfill this commitment.

“You have mentioned that our Governor oversees a performing government. When he hears the concerns of the community, you can be confident that you will see results in due time.”

Earlier, Comrade Ifeanyi Francis, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Ajaji Layout, expressed gratitude for the government’s swift response.

He highlighted the urgent need for improved infrastructure, including roads, a reliable drainage system, and access to primary and secondary education and healthcare services.

“Our devoted Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has always been attuned to the needs of the people. We are thankful for the visible progress he has made, not only in Asaba but also in Warri and beyond.

“Your visit today is significant as we have been granted the opportunity to discuss our needs. This is a meaningful day for our community, and we sincerely hope our Governor will heed the calls for improved roads, drainage, schools, and other vital services.

“We also urge the establishment of educational institutions in our area, as the lack of both primary and secondary schools is a pressing concern.

“We are in need of a police post and better healthcare facilities, including a hospital or maternity center. The visit from the Asagba has given us renewed hope and confidence that our requests will be communicated to the Governor.

“We are grateful for this engagement. Additionally, we seek attention for a pedestrian bridge, as the current situation poses challenges for our community.

“With over 100,000 residents, the daily commute, especially for children heading to school across the road, raises important security concerns.

“The well-being and safety of our children and the local business community are paramount.”

As Bride of the PDP, Delta North Should Guard Party, Maintain its Dominance – Onyeme

…As Delta North PDP Stalwarts Pass a Vote of Confidence in Oborevwori

    By Sunday Apah

The Deputy Governor of Delta State, Sir Monday Onyeme, has stated that Delta North remains the “bride” of the party in the state, advising members in the district to jealously guard the party and maintain its dominance.

The Deputy Governor made this known during a meeting of elected and appointed political office holders from the Delta North Senatorial District on Thursday. He also passed a vote of confidence in the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori.

At the meeting—which was summoned and presided over by Deputy Governor Onyeme—the people of Delta North, also known as Anioma, expressed satisfaction with the even distribution of projects by Governor Oborevwori’s administration across the state.

The meeting was held at the Unity Hall, Government House, Asaba.

The motion was moved by the member representing Ika Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, who took into account the achievements of Governor Oborevwori, particularly the ongoing 500 road projects across various parts of the state, the inspection of projects to ensure value for money, and the prompt payment of salaries, among others. These achievements culminated in the winning of the ThisDay/Arise TV Governor of the Year Award for 2024.

The motion was seconded by the Majority Leader of the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Emeka Nwobi, and was put to a voice vote by the Deputy Governor, where it was adopted by the participants.

Addressing the gathering, Deputy Governor Sir Monday Onyeme emphasized that all elected and appointed officials of the state government are ambassadors of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), hence they must promote the policies and programs of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s administration.

He stated that their election and appointment are platforms to serve humanity, the PDP, and Delta State, noting that Delta North remains the bride of the party and that members should jealously guard the party and maintain its dominance.

Sir Onyeme urged leaders to stay connected with the grassroots and ensure that members are not dissuaded by opposition parties that have nothing to offer except lies.

“Delta North should remain the PDP-dominant Senatorial District. We must consolidate our position as the main determinant for all elections in Delta State.

“As we approach the end of the second year of this administration, our focus should be on doubling our efforts. We should always highlight and project the government’s achievements in everything we do, everywhere we go, and at every occasion because this administration has done so much for Deltans.”

The Deputy Governor also advised Local Government Council Chairmen to properly engage with the grassroots by complementing Oborevwori’s More Agenda by embarking on projects that add value to the lives of the people.

He encouraged PDP leaders to initiate various forms of empowerment programs and directed the PDP senatorial and local government chairmen to ensure their attendance at party activities and meetings.

Sir Onyeme highlighted the need for elected and appointed officials to regularly visit the wards and council areas, urging council chairmen to abandon the habit of remaining in Asaba.

Other speakers included the State Deputy Chairman of the PDP, Elder Moses Iduh; PDP Delta North Senatorial Chairman, Chief Dan Ossai; the member representing Ika Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Victor Nwokolo; Majority Leader of the State House of Assembly, Hon. Emeka Nwaobi; Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Kingsley Emu; Chairman of Oshimili North Council, Hon. Innocent Esewezie; and Chief Strategist to the State Government, Dr. Festus Okubor, among others.

They also emphasized that Delta North will remain a stronghold of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and resolved that legal processes should be initiated to retrieve the Senatorial mandate of the PDP from Prince Ned Nwoko, who has defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

No fewer than 500 persons attended the meeting held at the Unity Hall, Government House, Asaba, Delta State.

Senator Nwoko’s Unfounded Promises Have Ended His Second Term Bid – Ndukwe

    Oplus_131072

    By Sunday Apah

Hon. Louis Ogugua Ndukwe, former Executive Chairman of Oshimili North Local Government Council, has made strong assertions regarding Senator Ned Nwoko’s recent defection from the PDP to the APC.

Ndukwe confidently stated that Nwoko’s ambition to secure the APC ticket for the 2027 Senatorial election is likely to be unsuccessful due to several critical factors.

In an interview at his residence in Oshimili North, Ndukwe explained that Nwoko’s aspiration will face significant obstacles from long-standing party members who have dedicated years to building the APC’s presence in Delta North.

He noted that influential party members may have already been promised the Senatorial ticket, further complicating Nwoko’s bid.

Ndukwe expressed skepticism about Nwoko’s justification for joining the APC, particularly the senator’s claims that the creation of Anioma State would be realized by March 2025.

He found such assertions to be naive and misleading, accusing Nwoko of attempting to deceive voters with unfounded promises.

Ndukwe questioned why President Bola Tinubu, as the leader of the APC, did not formally welcome Nwoko to the party, suggesting that the senator’s departure from the PDP lacked significance.

He characterized the event as a maneuver to distract from Nwoko’s inability to deliver meaningful contributions to his constituents over the past two years.

“This attempt to mislead the people of Delta North by presenting his defection as an achievement is not convincing,” said Ndukwe.

“Nwoko’s claims about Anioma State becoming a reality soon are simply an effort to obscure his record in office.”

He emphasized that the residents are knowledgeable and can distinguish between genuine proposals and mere political theatrics, particularly regarding the dubious timeline for advocating Anioma State under the current APC-led federal government.

    By Sunday Apah

Olorogun John Unukebo Oguma, the Chief Executive Officer of Obakpor Construction Company, has been elected as the Chairman of Ughelli North, Ughelli South, Udu Federal Constituency Steering Committee.

He promised to ensure that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) secures victory in all elections within the area come 2027 elections.

During a strategic meeting held in Asaba, on Tuesday, the Ughelli North, Ughelli South, Udu Federal Constituency also passed a vote of confidence in Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, commending him for his exceptional development efforts across the state.

The motion for the vote of confidence which was unanimously adopted, following its introduction by Hon. Samuel Mariere, a former member of the State House of Assembly and Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), and seconded by Hon. Anthony Erhuen.

In his speech, Mariere emphasized the Governor’s exemplary performance in various sectors, highlighting his accomplishments as deserving of recognition.

In his address following the election, Oguma expressed gratitude to the stakeholders for their trust and called for collective efforts to drive progress within the constituency.

He stated, “We are committed to ensuring that Governor Oborevwori achieves a resounding victory in our area during the 2027 elections.”

Oguma further noted that the newly formed federal constituency steering committee will enhance the existing leadership framework of the party.

He pointed out the significance of the Ughelli North, Ughelli South, Udu federal constituency, which encompasses 14 kingdoms out of the 24 in Urhoboland.

He remarked on how, over the years, the constituency had diminished in its influence within Urhobo politics.

Despite having more registered voters than the other two federal constituencies combined in Delta Central, the PDP has struggled in past elections; however, Oguma expressed optimism that a process for revitalizing the party’s performance is already underway.

He underscored the importance of unity within the federal constituency as a fundamental goal.

“The aim of this meeting is to create a substantial platform for stakeholders to collaboratively outline a strategic approach for the PDP in the upcoming 2027 general elections,” he added.

The Udu/Ughelli federal constituency Executive team also includes Chief Eddie Ono-Sorhue as Deputy Chairman, Rt. Hon. Festus Ovie Agas as Secretary, Hon. George Oyefia as Treasurer, and Hon. Vincent Oyibode as Publicity Secretary.

Oborevwori Urges Leaders to Prioritize Public Interest Over Personal Gain

    By Sunday Apah
Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, called on elected and appointed officials to prioritize the welfare of the people above their personal interests during a meeting with the newly elected executive of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Delta State Chapter, led by Bishop Abos Willie, at the Government House in Asaba on Wednesday.
Governor Oborevwori emphasized that a lack of reverence for God contributes to some public figures placing their own interests above the collective needs of the community.
He expressed that the achievements of his administration over the past 19 months were a result of divine guidance and providence, assuring he would continue to center governance around spiritual values.
He congratulated the new PFN executive members on their election success, expressing his commitment to collaborate with them to further the MORE Agenda of his administration.
“First, I want to extend my congratulations to the new executive members of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Delta State Chapter. We are thankful to God for the progress we’ve made so far,” he stated.
“Through divine wisdom, we have managed to allocate resources judiciously to address competing needs and make sound decisions. As a government, we hold firm to our reliance on God for guidance to effectively implement the initiatives outlined under the MORE Agenda.”
Oborevwori, a member of the Living Faith Church, expressed confidence that collaboration with the Christian community would lead to success.
“It’s essential to remember that we are elected or appointed to serve the interests of the people, not our own. Prioritizing public welfare is key to achieving success. When personal interests take precedence, failure often follows.”
He highlighted various initiatives underway in Delta State meant to improve the lives of residents at the grassroots level, reiterating his administration’s commitment to engage with relevant stakeholders to advance the state.
The Governor also urged the PFN and the broader church community to continue praying for the state and nation, highlighting the need for divine intervention to address existing challenges.
Earlier, Bishop Abos Willie, Chairman of the Delta State PFN, acknowledged the visit as an opportunity to introduce the new executive while also congratulating the Governor on his recent accolades as Governor of the Year by ThisDay Newspaper and Arise Television.
He reminded the Governor of the importance of maintaining a zero-tolerance policy toward subpar projects, asserting this stance would help eliminate the prevalence of project abandonment in the state.
The Bishop outlined his administration’s focus on the values of the Holy Bible, religious harmony, integrity in Christianity, and the significance of being born again, appealing for the state government’s support to achieve these goals.

Governor Oborevwori Swears-in Amori as Chief Adviser

*Task Political Appointees on Whistle Blowing Policy

    By Sunday Apah

Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has urged his administration’s political appointees to actively promote the whistleblower policy by reporting any inadequately executed projects in their communities for immediate action.

The Governor made this announcement on Wednesday during the swearing-in ceremony for Senator Ighoyota Amori as his Chief Adviser at the Unity Hall, Government House, Asaba.

He emphasized that video evidence and detailed reports of poorly completed projects will assist the government in holding negligent contractors accountable and combatting project abandonment, ensuring that work is completed according to contractual standards.

“Last week, during a meeting with senior public and civil servants, I indicated my plan to establish a hotline for residents to report substandard work by contractors directly to my office,” he noted.

“This initiative will help the government guarantee full value for the funds allocated to projects. Political appointees should lead by example, actively monitoring projects in their regions and advising the government as necessary.”

The Governor reiterated the importance of teamwork in governance, stating, “We must all pull together to achieve our goal of delivering the best for our citizens and positioning Delta State as a model for others in the federation.”

Governor Oborevwori expressed pride in the achievements of his administration over the past 19 months and stressed the need for continued fiscal responsibility, extensive infrastructure development, youth empowerment, and support for small and medium enterprises.

“We are resolved to keep our spending within our revenue capabilities and ensure responsible resource allocation, thus creating an environment conducive to economic growth and sustainable development,” he affirmed.

In congratulating Chief Amori on his new role, the Governor pointed out that the appointment aligns with Section 196 (1) of the 1999 Constitution of Nigeria (as amended).

“Chief Amori is well-known as a founding member of the PDP in Delta State and has made significant contributions to the party at both local and national levels,” he said. “His experience in various government roles will be invaluable as we pursue the MORE Agenda to advance Delta State.”

Today’s event also served as a reminder for political appointees to represent this administration positively. “As public servants, your actions and statements must align with the core values of the MORE Agenda, which include innovation, excellence, service, social responsibility, transparency, accountability, opportunity, freedom, unity, and respect.”

“I expect every appointee to uphold these values to earn respect and support from the communities we serve,” he added.

The Governor also emphasized the importance of maintaining consistent communication with local communities and government councils. “It is your responsibility to ensure that the public is informed about our policies and programs while gathering valuable feedback from them.”

“This approach will help the citizens feel the benefits of governance and allow us to tailor our programs to meet their needs and aspirations. We remain committed to delivering the benefits of democracy to the grassroots level, and you all play a crucial role in this process. Your performance will be closely monitored as a measure of your effectiveness,” Oborevwori concluded.

In his remarks following the swearing-in, Chief Adviser Senator Ighoyota Amori expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve the state and the party. He pledged to provide insightful guidance aimed at advancing Delta in all sectors while encouraging Deltans to continue supporting the Governor’s initiatives for sustainable socio-economic and infrastructural development.
