Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has conveyed heartfelt congratulations to elder statesman and former Chairman of the Okpe Local Government Transition Committee, Chief Joseph Asini, in honor of his 88th birthday this Sunday, March 15.
In a formal statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, from Asaba, Governor Oborevwori lauded Chief Asini for his outstanding dedication to the progress and advancement of Okpe Kingdom and Delta State as a whole.
The Governor expressed deep appreciation for Chief Asini’s wisdom, unwavering leadership, and ongoing mentorship to the Okpe community, emphasizing that his steadfast support has significantly aided the achievements of the current state government.
“On behalf of my family, the Delta State Government, and its citizens, I extend warm felicitations to our respected father and leader, Okakuro Joseph Asini, the Oghweibor of Okpe Kingdom, as he celebrates his 88th birthday,” Governor Oborevwori stated.
He highlighted that this notable anniversary serves as an occasion to honour a lifetime committed to altruistic service, principled leadership, and the betterment of society.
