Honourable Emmanuel Egbabor, former Chairman of Isoko North Local Government Council and past State Organizing Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has congratulated the newly elected Executive of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Isoko North Local Government Area.
The newly elected executive headed by Mr. Sunday Omonakome, along with the Ward Executive members throughout the council, were commended in a statement released to the press.
In his message, Egbabor highlighted that the selection of the new Local Government and Ward executives illustrates a spirit of unity, political maturity, and a shared commitment among party members to reinforce the APC’s presence at the grassroots level.
He pointed out that the consensus-based and orderly election process underscores the deepening internal democracy within the Isoko North chapter of the party.
Egbabor encouraged the incoming chairman, Mr. Sunday Omonakome, and his executive team to honor the trust placed in them by working earnestly to unify the party’s framework, encourage inclusive participation, and drive support for the APC in every ward.
He emphasized that effective local leadership is fundamental to the party’s broader stability and achievements.
The former council chairman also recognized the contributions of APC leaders at both the local and state levels in facilitating a smooth and successful congress.
He gave special acknowledgment to Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, for fostering a secure and conducive atmosphere that ensured the peaceful execution of the congress across the state.
Egbabor remarked that the calm and non-violent nature of the Isoko North congress reflects the governor’s dedication to maintaining peace, enhancing security, and supporting democratic advancement within Delta State. Such a stable environment, he noted, is vital for fostering genuine development and political evolution.
He further urged all party members to unite behind the newly elected officials and collaborate in a harmonious manner, underscoring that solidarity and adherence to the party’s principles would enhance the APC’s prospects in upcoming electoral activities.
In closing, Egbabor wished the new executives a productive term and voiced his assurance that they would elevate the party’s standing and influence within Isoko North Local Government Area.
