Following significant development strides across the local government area since his assumption of office, a group known as Uduere United has affirmed its unwavering support for the Chairman of Ughelli North Local Government Council, Olorogun Jaro Movudu Egbo Esq.
The group, which expressed its support during a visit to the chairman on Sunday, January 4, 2026, stated that the visit would further strengthen the unity of the Uduere community and encourage more development initiatives.
Speaking during the visit, the Chairman of Uduere United, Comrade Cosmas Ejoke Onobeyake, described their meeting with Olorogun Jaro Egbo, whom he addressed as the National Leader of the Uduere community, as an important platform for constructive dialogue.
He added that the occasion would foster unity and renew commitment towards the development of the Uduere community and the overall progress of Ughelli North Local Government Area.
The group promised to work closely with the Council Chairman, offering their full support and cooperation to help him successfully achieve his goals and aspirations.
They reiterated that unity, mutual respect, and collective responsibility are essential for sustainable development and peaceful coexistence within the local government area.
In his response, Olorogun Jaro Egbo commended the group for their show of support and encouragement.
He thanked Uduere United for their confidence in his leadership and assured them that their partnership would be instrumental in advancing the welfare of the community.

The chairman emphasized the importance of collaboration between community groups and local government in addressing the challenges facing Ughelli North.

Olorogun Egbo also reiterated his administration’s dedication to transparency, accountability, and inclusiveness in governance. “I urge all stakeholders in Uduere and beyond to join hands with the council in ensuring that progress and peace remain our priorities.”
He concluded by calling on the community to remain united and active in supporting initiatives that promote economic growth, education, infrastructure development, and youth empowerment, promising that his leadership would continue to be responsive and people-centered.
