The member representing Ughelli North, Ughelli South, and Udu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Rev’d Francis Ejiroghene Waive, has urged his constituents to register for the INEC voter’s card, which he said will boost the voting strength of the federal constituency.
Waive made this known during a meeting of the Ughelli North, Ughelli South, and Udu Federal Constituency Forum held at Ovwian, Udu Local Government Area of Delta State.
He stated that a higher voting strength would enable him to lobby for more development projects and other benefits for the constituency.
He commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for their performances at both the federal and state levels.
He highlighted notable achievements, including the establishment of the Federal Medical Centre and the upcoming College of Nursing and Midwifery, assuring constituents that there are more initiatives in store for the federal constituency.
Waive also praised Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for transforming the state into a construction hub, with development projects spanning all 25 Local Government Areas through his M.O.R.E Agenda.
He urged members of the U3 Forum to mobilize their communities for the ongoing INEC registration exercise, emphasizing that this will enhance the voting strength of the federal constituency and enable him to lobby for additional development projects.
While soliciting continued support from his constituents to do more for the Ughelli North, Ughelli South, and Udu Federal Constituency, Waive called on them to forward any issues of interest to him so that he can address them on the floor of the House.
“I am ready to present your issues of interest and the concerns of the constituency before the National Assembly because that is what you elected me to do, and I am committed to carrying this out diligently,” he added.
