The Oproza Grammar School, Patani, Old Students Association (OGSOSA) has elected new executives to pilot the affairs of the association for the next three years.

Those elected, as announced by the electoral committee, include Dr. Mrs. Celestina Kekai, National President; Engr. Stephen Ebaretonbofa, First National Vice President; Hon. Highlife Triumphant Akpor, Second National Vice President; Mr. Ekperi Osuo, National Secretary; Engr. Ebikabowei Ariye, Assistant National Secretary; Mrs. Amalayefa Oki-Tobele, Esq., National Treasurer; Hon. Chief Sunday Apah, National Publicity Secretary; Mr. Cletus Falah, National Financial Secretary; Mr. Wariebi Mologe, National Organizing Secretary; Mr. Afoke Ogba, Assistant National Organizing Secretary; and Chief Engr. Ebikibina Charles, National Welfare Officer.

In her appreciation speech on behalf of the newly elected executives, Dr. (Mrs.) Celestina Kekai, National President-elect, expressed gratitude to the electorates, saying the victory was not for them alone but a testament to the collective spirit, dedication, and unwavering belief in the future of Oproza Grammar School, Patani.

According to her, “During the campaigns, we heard the concerns of many, and our hopes and dreams for our alma mater align.

“From enhancing alumni engagement and fostering a stronger sense of community to supporting current students and strengthening our ties.

“As we embark on this new chapter, we are reminded of the importance of teamwork for organizational growth.

“We promise to prioritize initiatives that strengthen our alumni network, create meaningful mentorship opportunities for current students, and ensure that our alma mater continues to be a beacon of excellence and innovation.

“We will work to increase scholarship opportunities, expand career development resources, and celebrate the diverse achievements of our alumni worldwide by ensuring the judicious use of our media outlets.

“This is a time for us to come together, bridge divides, and build a future that honors our past while embracing new possibilities.

“As your new executives-elect, we urge all alumni to unite. Let us respectfully agree to disagree for our common good. We are stronger together, and we are confident that, with your continued support and engagement, we will accomplish remarkable things.

“We thank you all for placing your trust in us. We are honored to serve you in our various capacities, and we promise to dedicate ourselves wholeheartedly to advancing the interests and values of our extraordinary alma mater,” she added.
