Comrade Moses Bokwe, the former treasurer of the Aladja Community Development Council (ACDC), Udu Local Government Area of Delta State, will lay his mother, the late Mrs. Veronica Votu Ogheneriebeodohwo, to rest on Friday, September 5, 2025.
It is noteworthy that Mrs. Veronica Votu Ogheneriebeodohwo, who hailed from the families of Adakpore and Odede, both of Aladja town, passed away earlier this year at the age of 75.
In a statement issued by Comrade Moses Bokwe, the eldest son of the late septuagenarian, it was confirmed that she will be buried on Friday, September 5, 2025.
He explained that the body will leave De Don Mortuary off Aladja Express Way, Ovwian, heading to her father’s compound in Iyeghe Quarter, Aladja, by 10 a.m.
He noted that the funeral service will be held at Aladja Grammar School at 10 a.m. Following the service, interment at the burial site will take place at 12 noon, and refreshments for guests will follow at the playground of Aladja Grammar School.
Also, on Sunday, September 7, 2025, there will be an outing service at Christ Missionaries Crusader Church, Steel Town 1, by Iron Gate, DSC Township, Orhuwhorun, beginning at 8 a.m.
Bokwe urged relatives, friends, and well-wishers to attend the ceremonies to help provide his mother with a befitting burial.
Mrs. Veronica Votu Ogheneriebeodohwo is survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives, and friends.
