Among the many accomplishments under Governor Oborevwori’s leadership, Flash highlighted the significant infrastructural developments taking place across the state.
“These include the completion and ongoing construction of over 513 road and bridge projects, covering approximately 1,500 kilometers of roads and 950 kilometers of drainage systems.
“Notable projects such as the construction of flyovers at PTI, DSC Roundabout, and Enerhen Junction, along with the near completion of the Ughelli-Asaba dual carriageway, signify a strong commitment to improving transportation and connectivity for Deltans,” he said.
Flash commended the governor’s empowerment initiatives, which have successfully implemented various programs benefiting over 250,000 residents.
The initiatives, which include the MORE Grant, D-CARES, WESAP, and Micro-credit programs, reflect a profound dedication to uplifting communities and providing opportunities for economic advancement.
The administration’s strides in education and healthcare were also acknowledged by Flash.
He noted the establishment of a new campus of Southern Delta University in Orerokpe, the recruitment of over 600 tertiary education staff, and the awarding of bursaries to 60,000 students.
The renovation and equipment upgrades of 150 primary health centers and 64 general hospitals illustrate a concerted effort to improve educational and healthcare standards throughout the state.
Flash further emphasized the administration’s commitment to worker welfare, highlighting the salary increases and promotion arrears that have positively impacted many employees.
He expressed gratitude for these initiatives, stating that they have significantly improved the livelihoods of workers within the state.
Expressing optimism about the future, Flash stated, “Your efforts deserve recognition, and we will jointly work to ensure your victory as Executive Governor of Delta State in 2027.”
