The Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has congratulated Elder Omeni Sobotie, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a heartfelt message released by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, from Asaba on Saturday, Governor Oborevwori recognized Elder Sobotie as an experienced politician and effective grassroots mobilizer whose impact on the political scene in Delta State is noteworthy.
The Governor commended the APC chairman for his unwavering commitment to public service, his advocacy for democratic principles, and his efforts in promoting peaceful political dialogue in the region.
“On behalf of the government and the people of Delta, I extend my warmest congratulations to Elder Omeni Sobotie as he celebrates his birthday. Your unwavering dedication to politics, your efforts to build bridges, and your commitment to the welfare of the community are truly admirable,” Governor Oborevwori stated.
He also expressed his wishes for Elder Sobotie, saying, “I pray that God blesses you with good health, wisdom, and many more years of meaningful service to our beloved state and nation.”
The Governor encouraged Elder Sobotie to continue leveraging his extensive experience to foster unity, peace, and development in Delta, emphasizing that the state flourishes best when leaders collaborate, regardless of their political affiliations.
