The National Executive Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has named Yilwatda Nentawe, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Social Development, as the new national chairman of the party.
Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State, who also chairs the Progressive Governors’ Forum, introduced the motion during the ongoing 14th Committee meeting at the State House Conference Centre in Abuja.
The motion received support from House of Representatives Speaker Tajudeen Abbas, leading to Nentawe’s immediate inauguration.
