Hon. Emmanuel Egbabor, the former Chairman of the Isoko North Local Government Council and the immediate past State Organizing Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has congratulated Hon. (Elder) Prince Godwin Ogorugba, the current Executive Chairman of Isoko North, on the occasion of his first year in office.
In a message of goodwill, Egbabor lauded Ogorugba for what he described as his “remarkable achievements and purposeful leadership” within only one year since assuming his role as council boss.
Recalling their long-standing relationship, Egbabor highlighted their shared history in local governance.
He pointed out that while he served two terms as council chairman, Ogorugba also held the position of PDP chairman in Isoko North for two terms.
He referred to Ogorugba as a friend, brother, in-law, and political colleague.
He emphasized that their collaboration over the years has fostered mutual respect and a profound understanding of public service.
“I cherish the working relationship we have cultivated over time. Even during disagreements, we always managed to find common ground for the benefit of the people. That is the essence of genuine friendship and effective leadership,” Egbabor stated.
He expressed confidence that Ogorugba will continue to build on his current achievements and urged him to stay committed to executing developmental projects and promoting inclusive governance for the people of Isoko North.
Egbabor ended his message by reaffirming his support and best wishes for Ogorugba as he continues his tenure. He prayed for divine wisdom, knowledge, and the fear of God to guide him in fulfilling his responsibilities to the residents of Isoko North, both locally and in the diaspora.
