Oborevwori Celebrates Former Minister Godsday Orubebe on His 66th Birthday

Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State has congratulated Elder Godsday Orubebe, the former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, as he celebrates his 66th birthday on Friday, June 6, 2025.

In expressing his admiration, Governor Oborevwori referred to Orubebe as a distinguished statesman and a passionate advocate for the advancement of the Niger Delta region.

The governor’s remarks were shared in a statement from his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon.

The governor commended Orubebe for his significant contributions to national development, particularly during his time as Minister, where he was instrumental in promoting essential infrastructure and peace-building efforts throughout the Niger Delta.

“On behalf of the government and the people of Delta State, I extend my warmest congratulations to Elder Godsday Peter Orubebe, CON, on the joyous occasion of his 66th birthday,” Governor Oborevwori stated.

“Elder Orubebe is a notable son of Delta, having shown steadfast dedication to the progress of both our state and the entire Niger Delta. His legacy of service and enduring patriotism are truly commendable.”

The governor also recognized Orubebe’s commitment to grassroots development, emphasizing that his impactful efforts have continued to benefit communities even after his tenure in office.
