Despite the efforts of three contractors—Worksons Nigeria Limited, (Section A, Ughelli -Isoko), CCC Construction Nigeria Limited, (Section B, Isoko – Osissa) and ULO Consultant Limited (Section C, Osissa -Asaba) —the project languished, ultimately becoming a point of frustration for countless Delta residents and other road users stymied by traffic issues and inadequate infrastructure.
Yet, the dawn of hope emerged when Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori took the reins of governance in 2023. Within a remarkably short timeframe, he has orchestrated a completion rate of 95% for this vital thoroughfare, breathing new life into the ideals of efficient governance and effective leadership.
